The Houston Chronicle and Texas Tribune are two of Houston's worst news outlets. They both promote the same type of fake news that many are quick to condemn. But who is the right one? It's not easy to answer since there's more investigative journalism from the Texan. And who can blame them? Houstonians aren't knowledgeable about politics, so why should we trust The Chronicle? The Houston Chronicle is a fake news agency. The newspaper only publishes one main newspaper, but there are some outstanding writers who act as propaganda for fake news. The Houston Chronicle is Texas largest newspaper. It is the third largest newspaper in circulation on Sundays in the United States. In 1995 the Houston Chronicle purchased its long-time rival, the Houston Post, and made itself the newspaper of record in Houston. The newspaper's personalities are a major influencer in its policies. Its readers and advertisers are very tenacious, and it's not difficult to disagree with them.

The Texas Tribune is a non-profit organization, which is financed by donations from individuals and corporate sponsorships. Events and foundation grants. The group tried to address the issue by bringing in journalists from the Capitol press corps which included Matt Stiles and Emily Ramshaw of the Dallas Morning News, Brandy Grissom of the El Paso Times, and Elise Hu of KVUE-TV. Evan Smith, a veteran editor in chief of the Austin-based Texas Monthly, is also a host of the PBS station-based interview program. Finally, the company brought on reporter Morgan Smith, who previously worked for The Texas Observer and the Houston Chronicle.

Texas Tribune's investigative reporting

The Texas Tribune's investigative reporting is the most effective in Houston however, its content is unreliable. ProPublica has taken over the Texas Tribune as the media outlet of choice. Evan Smith, the founder and CEO of the news organization intends to conduct large-swinging investigative work in his own state. However, Texas only has a handful of reporters who are interested in these issues. Smith, despite his nationwide reach, is searching for opportunities to work in the Houston region.

Ten years ago the Texas Tribune was founded. It has revolutionized the way Texas politicians conduct business and are perceived. The Tribune's journalists were inspired to do so by Emily Ramshaw, a Dallas Morning News reporter who was fired four times and considered law school. John C. Taylor and Ross Ramsey, fellow Texans, joined her. They've carved their own niche in Houston's journalistic scene.

While the Texan's editorial team occasionally supports Republicans However, it is biased towards Democrats. The Houston Chronicle's editorial board has recently called for Sen. Ted Cruz to resign after he took his family on an excursion to Mexico in the midst of extreme winter weather. In a scathing editorial, the editorial board characterized Cruz's decision as "foolish" and "callous." In the aftermath, Cruz stepped down as the leader of a campaign to challenge the outcomes of the 2020 election in Congress.
